Nassau County

The closest run from the city and the easiest to schedule. Corporate campuses, catering halls, and country clubs, most with their own lots — which removes the hardest part of a New York City booking before it starts.

The Hamptons & the East End

A summer market with its own rules. Southampton, East Hampton, Montauk and Bridgehampton compress most of their demand into roughly twelve weeks, and the good dates go early.

The North Fork

Vineyard weddings and tasting-room events, where a truck often works better than a caterer because the venue has no kitchen to work from in the first place.

Suffolk & the South Shore

Beach clubs, marinas, and private homes. Access is usually straightforward; the constraint is soft ground and narrow drives rather than permits.

What Long Island actually takes.

It is a different problem from the boroughs, and mostly an easier one — with one exception that catches people every year.

Permitting is municipal, not county-wide

There is no single Long Island permit. Each town and village runs its own process, and the East End villages are stricter in season than anywhere else we work. We handle it either way — but it is the reason lead time matters more here than in the boroughs.

Private property removes most of the problem

Most Long Island bookings are on a venue lot, a club, or a private drive. That sidesteps the curbside permitting that dominates a Manhattan activation and is why a Long Island date is often simpler than a Midtown one.

Season is the real constraint

Memorial Day to Labor Day on the East End is the tightest calendar we run. An August Saturday in Southampton is not a date you hold at three weeks; a February one in Garden City usually is.

Ground, access, and clearance

Lawns, sand, and gravel drives need checking before the day, and a covered gatehouse or a low tree line matters more than you would expect. We scout it rather than discovering it on arrival.

Weddings, mostly.

More of our Long Island calendar is weddings than anything else, and most of it is the late-night end of the night rather than the dinner. A vineyard on the North Fork or a club on the South Shore usually has the plated course handled and a gap at eleven o’clock that a caterer is not staying for. Long Island FAQs

Do you cover the Hamptons?

Yes — Southampton, East Hampton, Bridgehampton, and Montauk, alongside the rest of the East End. We have run a full-season operation out there: a custom truck for Cipriani that worked as a satellite location in Southampton for the whole summer rather than a weekend pop-up.

How far east do you go?

To the end of both forks — Montauk on the South Fork, Orient on the North. Drive time and season are what change past Riverhead, not availability. East End dates in July and August should be booked further ahead than anything else we run.

How much does a food truck cost on Long Island?

The same published rates as the rest of our service area: from $1,500 a day for an unbranded staffed truck, and from $10,000 for a custom-wrapped activation. What can move on Long Island is travel and, in peak season on the East End, availability rather than price.

Can a food truck park at a Long Island beach club or catering hall?

Usually yes, and more easily than in the city, because most venues here have their own lot or service drive. What we check first is ground surface and overhead clearance — sand, soft lawn, and a low gatehouse cause more cancelled setups on Long Island than paperwork does.
